The couple I get to introduce on the blog today is just adorable! Natalie & Preston actually met each other in middle school! They became best friends in eighth grade because they both have the exact same sense of humor. Their friendship lasted all through high school. They attended school dances together, and they started dating just before Natalie moved to North Carolina. Natalie & Preston both served LDS missions after high school; she in Honolulu, Hawaii and he in Peru. The two of them reconnected a few years later and have been together ever since! When I asked them about their relationship, Natalie told me, “Everyone says they married their best friend, but Preston and I feel it’s REALLY true for us!”

Natalie & Preston both love spending time outdoors together. He popped the question on a beautiful mountaintop surrounded by fall leaves. I was so excited when they decided to mix it up and have their engagement pictures taken on a rooftop in downtown Salt Lake City! It was super cold that day, but you wouldn’t even know it because they were just champs about it.

Congratulations, you two! I loved spending the evening with you. I can’t wait for your May wedding!
