Beautiful sunrise mountain fall engagement session! Captured some epic photos on this chilly fall morning with the cutest couple.

This sunrise mountain fall engagement session was everything and more. Fall locations are super popular right now in the evenings with everyone trying to get fall pictures in while the colors last. So we decided on a sunrise session and Meredith and William met me bright and early. It was a chilly fall morning and a good reminder that summer really is over.

Meet Meredith and William, the future Fawcetts. They both served missions in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They didn’t actually know each other on the mission, but met after they got home. Meredith returned home to Georgia in December. William returned home in March and is from the land of America’s best bbq…Texas. A lot of their fellow missionary companions all got in touch after returning home. Meredith and William started talking and hit it off. Between March and July they had made the trip 4 times to see each other. It was during those months that they both fell head over heels for each other.

William worked behind the scenes with Meredith’s mom to pick out her engagement ring. Meredith’s mom suggested they go look at rings just for fun before she headed to BYU for school. Her mom then gave William all of the details on  her size and what she wanted. William proposed one week after they had both moved to Provo to attend BYU. He wasn’t wasting any time, he’s ready for eternity with Meredith. They had gone tubing that day and William told Meredith to dress up nice for dinner. It was huge surprise to Meredith and she jokes that her hair wasn’t even cute that night. William proposed up Payson canyon and took Meredith completely by surprise. I’ve heard so many proposal stories lately where the couple has the date set before they get engaged. Not these two, their love story is so traditional and unique.

Their big day is scheduled for November in the Payson temple. After our chilly morning, William joked around that he’s ready to handle a Utah winter. He lived in Texas and just spent the last two years in Brazil. I can’t wait to see if his perspective changes when we meet up for bridals in November. Meredith and William were super grateful and the sweetest couple ever! Seriously, they were awesome and super photogenic. I’m SO excited to hang out with them again in November!
