I actually came across these two in a very unique way.

A few months ago, I was stalking a fellow photographer because in the photography world it is incredibly hard to not compare yourself to every other photographer. I remember specifically being so amazed by Katie Hintze’s work and being relieved that she wasn’t located in Utah as competition haha!

Fast forward a few months… on a Facebook group I saw Katie asking for a trade shoot of her cousin and I offered! Katie then contacted me and I had the amazing opportunity to join these two love birds up in the most BEAUTIFUL location to capture just a glimpse into their love story.

Lucia and Patrick met in a class at BYU in Provo. Lucia had sworn she would never meet and marry someone so quickly but then she met Patrick and that all changed. These two were literally made for each other and I literally told them how cute they were approximately 12384 times. I may have only spent two hours with the couple, but I can tell you forever won’t be long enough for these two. 🙂

I think I loved this session a little extra than most because it gave me the opportunity to step back and just enjoy the photography and appreciate why I ever became a photographer to begin with. It has never been about the money for me, it is about being apart of someone’s story and capturing just a glimpse of it for a lifetime of memory. Thank you Lucia and Patrick for reminding me of that.
