LDS Bountiful temple wedding and bridal session at Tibble Fork Reservoir. This love story was love at first zoom.

Meet this adorable Quarantine couple (is that a thing?), Arthella and Jake Dean. We took their bridals at the Tibble Fork Reservoir October 17th at the LDS Bountiful temple was the big day for Arthella and Jake. It was a beautiful fall day! Arthella’s wedding bouquet was burgundy, gold, dusty blue, with some soft orange and some cranberries and wheat, it was GORGEOUS! The colors all meshed so well together. After the temple they hosted a luncheon for family. One of Arthella’s family traditions is a quilt made her granny with the temple on it when her grandkids got married. Arthella’s granny passed away last October, so her mom and aunts made a gorgeous temple quilt. This was seriously the sweetest couple and family.

These two like to joke that they “found love in a hopeless place”, aka Price, Utah. Jake moved to Price just as the world was shutting down because of Covid. Jake and some of his friends were doing Come Follow Me study groups and got Arthella’s information from a mutual friend. He sent her a Facebook message. The first time they saw each other was through a Come Follow Me zoom video. Love at first Zoom! Dating during a world pandemic gave them the opportunity to experience real life situations together.

They have the cutest proposal story. Arthella assumed that Jake would propose at a pond where they first said, “I love you”. Instead Jake surprised her on a sunrise hike to a place they’d never been before where Jake proposed. He told Arthella he wanted to propose at a new place because they were starting a new adventure together. SO DANG SWEET! Together they enjoy S’mores (with Reese’s), walks, ice cream, cooking dinner together and visiting/zooming with family.
