Meet Abby and Nathan, soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Kent! This sunrise session was absolutely dreamy, even though we froze and risked getting hypothermia. Poor Abby and Nathan were shaking, we took a lot of breaks to warm up and it was SO worth it. This session was a blossoming fairy tale! It took place at the state capitol building with the beautiful blossoming trees still in full swing.
Abby and Nathan met last spring through a mutual friend get together at a bonfire. They hung out a few days later in a smaller group and hit it off. They started going on dates and eventually kissed. They always wanted to be together, but the semester was ending soon and they were both heading home for the Summer, Abby to Arizona and Nathan to St. George. Unfortunately they didn’t have the “DTR” (define the relationship) talk before heading home. They ended up talking and face-timing all Summer. When they both came back for the fall semester they started dating exclusively.
Nathan and Abby flew to Hawaii in February to visit Nathan’s brother. Abby had suspected the proposal was coming, but Nathan had her convinced that her ring wasn’t done yet. So she was pretty bummed out on the flight there. On Valentines Day they went to a cliff with a lighthouse, where he got down on one knee with her stunning ring and asked her to marry him. Talk about romantic, straight out of the movies! These two love birds love the sunshine, swimming, hiking, and pretty much anything outside. They are super adventurous and always willing to try new things.
The plan was to get married in June, but covid-19 came in like a wrecking ball. So they pushed their date to August and decided on a civil wedding in May. I’m wishing August didn’t seem so far away, because I can’t wait to celebrate with them! Congrats Abby and Nathan!
