Kevin and Ashley Rose were married last August 31st. I’ll never forget their bridal session, while I was walking Kevin to go see Ashley for their “first look” he mentioned that he felt like he was a finale show of the bachelor. Ashley reached out to me a couple of months ago and mentioned they were moving to Ft. Benning in Georgia. Kevin is starting infantry school soon and they wanted some pictures in front of the Mcpolin farmstead in Park City before their departure. Every Summer an American flag is hung up at the Mcpolin farmstead from memorial day through pioneer day. This patriotic American couples session with Kevin in his military uniform literally gave me the chills.

Kevin recently graduated from BYU and was commissioned into the US Army as a 2LT. When they introduced me to the newest member of their family, Patch. It was a toss up who was more popular at this session Kevin or the cutest little English Bulldog I’ve ever seen. Kevin loves his family and serves our country  with honor and is truly proud to be an American.

And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me

I’m so grateful for everyone who has fought and continues to fight for our country! I’m so honored that Kevin and Ashley trusted me to capture this special patriotic couples session. May we always remember the real reason we celebrate the 4th of July, that commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 and declared the original colonies to be free. I’m proud to be an American!
