I don’t know how the weather is where you are on this January morning, but here in Utah, the world is dressed in white! I hope you’re staying warm and enjoying the new year. I’m so excited to share this gorgeous winter wedding inspiration shoot with you today!
My team and I put this shoot together to serve as an afternoon of mentoring for my new associates, Candace and Sophia. We got to work with two different couples so that each of my associates had the opportunity to engage with each couple individually. It was so fun to allow both of them to have creativity and time on their own. I loved being able to watch them work and see how they interacted with our models. Candace and Sophia each have their own creative ways of bringing out the best in their couples, and ultimately we all have the same goal of providing a fun and happy experience for all Tasha Rose brides and grooms.
Our shoot took place at the beautiful and elegant Thomas S. Monson Center in downtown Salt Lake City. I cannot gush enough about how beautiful this building is! It’s a very high-end venue in such a lovely location in the middle of the city. The flowers for this shoot absolutely blew me away! We worked with two incredibly talented florists, Amanda with Celebration Flair and Megan with Evergreen Floral Design. Megan was a friend of Candace’s who ran track with her in high school. Amanda was the florist at McKenna and Teigen’s wedding last summer and I absolutely adored her work! Kelsey Wolfey provided us with the perfect modern minimalist invitations that matched the feel of the venue.
Jessica with J. Noelle Design provided us with the gorgeous pink gown. She specializes in bridal separates, giving brides the option to combine any top with any skirt to create something totally customized and unique! Our other gown was a vintage find with the most gorgeous lace detail.
Our models, Katie and Ethan are newlyweds who were just married about six months ago! They definitely still have that honeymoon glow. Laura is a talented hair and makeup artist (she did her own hair for this shoot!). She and Patrick recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. I love working with real couples and seeing the love they have for each other.
Thank you to all of our amazing vendors for making this shoot possible! On to the pretty:
