Gorgeous wedding at the Alpine Arts Center and bridals at Squaw Peak. Letters for the first look are my favorite bridal tradition!

If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue that hosts indoor and outdoor ceremonies/receptions, THIS IS IT! If you want that backyard wedding vibe, but don’t have the yard to do it, this is the perfect place. This venue matched so well with Kaitlin and Jake’s wedding colors dusty rose and sage. There are beautiful greenery and flowers everywhere. For this cute outdoorsy couple, it was the perfect place! Meet Kaitlin and Jacob (Jake), otherwise known as Mr. & Mrs. Orchard.

Kaitlin sent me an inquiry last year, but I never heard back. When her inquiry came in a few months ago, I thought she sounded familiar. Same Kaitlin, different groom, “someday someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it didn’t work out with anyone else”. For Kaitlin, that was Jake (no, not Jake from State Farm)! Mutual did it again, these two cuties matched up right away! You know what they say, first comes mutual, then comes love…funny enough, they had met a couple of weeks earlier at a church activity, but neither one of them recognized the other.

“I am tearing up just writing about him. He is just the best person ever and I don’t know if he realizes how out of my league in every way he is. He is so kind and thoughtful with literally everyone in his life. I could literally go on forever about everything I love about him, but my favorite thing about Jake is that he is Christlike.” – Kaitlin

Kaitlin and Jake love to be outdoors together. For their third date, Jake planned a  canyoneering trip in southern Utah for a few days. I knew the perfect location for their bridal session would be Squaw Peak, it’s easily becoming one of my favorite locations. Letter first look bridals are one of my FAVORITE traditions, I recommend it to all couples! Kaitlin’s brother Derek was her videographer, so it was fun to have him along for this session. These two were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple and had a small ceremony with family and friends after. The ceremony and reception were super laid back.
