I had the pleasure of spending the evening and getting to know the future Vincent’s tonight. Talk about a sweet couple, these two are so dang cute! We adventured to this epic location and the evening light was PERFECT! Meggie and Eric were naturals and I’m still day dreaming over this session and this location. Except, I’m blocking out the part where a snake surprised me on the trail and I was frozen with fear!

Meggie and Eric owe their parents for setting them up. Their parents have been trying to match-make these two for about three years. When Meggie returned home after serving an LDS mission, Eric and his dad showed up to her homecoming. Meggie downloaded the Mutual app, because how else do you find your prince charming these days? Eric was Meggie’s first match (seriously, a match made in heaven) and Eric was an obvious swipe up. Eric messaged her, “So are you going to give me your number so I can ask you on a date? Or should I ask my dad to get it from your dad?”. Eric snagged Meggie with his humor and she invited him to accompany her in picking out a pet fish. All of you Thomas Rhett country loving girls out there, be prepared to swoon over this proposal.

Eric is a big Thomas Rhett fan and one of his favorite songs is “Marry Me”. However, Meggie finds it depressing and hates when Eric plays it on the piano. She usually glares at him to change it up. After getting off work one day, Meggie headed to Eric’s house and when she walked in she heard him playing that dreaded song, but this time he was singing along, which he never does. Meggie prepared her glare face, but soon after walking in realized what was happening. There were roses on the table and pictures of the two of them. Eric’s dad and brother were sitting on the couch videoing. Eric had changed the lyrics to match their own love story, then knelt down on one knee and popped the question. After that, Meggie’s parents popped out from around the corner. Eric is a true romantic!

These two love spending time together, you can catch them in the Swig line getting some sips. Most of their time together has been during the quarantine so they’ve spent a lot of time binge watching TV shows, going on walks, and getting food or ice cream. These two are super excited for the future and I can’t wait for their big day!
