It was a sunny, early spring morning when Bri & Andrew exited the Salt Lake Temple hand in hand for the first time as husband and wife. This much-awaited wedding day could not have been more perfect! What began as a small crush when the two of them met in elementary school progressed to dating in high school and then waiting for two long years while Andrew served a mission for the LDS church. When he returned home, Bri & Andrew quickly realized the only option was to spend forever together. If that isn’t true love and dedication, I don’t know what is!
I met Bri a few years ago in nursing school while Andrew was away serving his mission, and all I ever heard about was this mysterious guy. To be honest, I was skeptical that anyone would be able to wait two entire years to be with someone and that it would still work out. However, all of my doubt disappeared the moment I met Andrew and saw the two of them together. Now I know exactly why they sacrificed so much to be with each other. It was very apparent to me that they were meant to be together always.
Everything about their March wedding was wonderful. The sun was shining bright in the sky, there was not a snowflake to be seen, and everyone the couple loves was there to celebrate with them. Hands down, these two had my favorite reception to date at Noah’s Event Center! There was a Polaroid camera photo station, delicious waffles, a live band, a soda bar (thanks to them, I am now addicted to Dr. Pepper with coconut) and so much dancing! It was an evening of pure celebration.
Bri’s great grandmother gave the best advice to the couple: “Turn all of your I’s into we’s and everything will work out.” Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Peterson! You two truly deserve an eternity of happiness together!
