The photos from this engagement session are making me so excited for summer! The outfits Katherine & Scott chose make me want to hit the beach and have a picnic. The two of them drove all the way from Rexburg, Idaho for their engagement session at Tibble Fork Reservoir!
Katherine & Scott were introduced by mutual friends. Scott is from Houston, Texas, and Katherine is from Virginia. The two of them are in school at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. They both really love the outdoors and activities like hiking, fishing, camping, scuba diving, paddleboarding, etc. Naturally this gorgeous lake surrounded by mountains was the perfect spot to capture their love!
Scott proposed on a beach at sunset on the island of Kwajalein. Katherine’s parents are currently living in the Marshall Islands, and the couple spent three weeks there visiting with her family. Scott wanted to pop the question while scuba diving, but Katherine didn’t want to go scuba diving that morning. Scott settled for a sunset beach proposal, which still sounds pretty amazing to me!
The two of them decided to get married in Houston, so I’ll be flying to Texas for their July wedding. I can hardly wait!
Congratulations, Katherine & Scott! Thanks for making the trip down to Utah. I can’t wait to see you again soon!
These are amazing!!
