I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

When I met Katherine & Tucker for ice cream in the early days of planning their wedding, I could tell it was going to be nothing short of amazing. The cherry on top of a wonderful first meeting was seeing the way Tucker looked at Katherine. I could hardly wait to see his reaction during their First Look!

Love letters are a tradition that I can’t get enough of! Katherine & Tucker each wrote a love letter and exchanged them just before their First Look. It brings such an amazing feeling to the bride and groom portrait session when the couple expresses their love this way and serves as a physical reminder of the total adoration they felt for each other in the moments leading up to their wedding day. The two of them were so fun to watch together! Tucker kept trying to sneak peeks at Katherine while reading his letter. Watch some sweet moments from their First Look in Katherine & Tucker’s wedding highlight video by Ashley Dallin Films here.

Finally the long-awaited day was here! Katherine & Tucker arrived at the Draper LDS Temple on a beautiful June day surrounded by friends, family and well-wishers. Their reception was held in a friend’s spectacular backyard which made the perfect backdrop for an evening filled with dancing and fun. Their guests were quite the dancers! The groom and groomsmen even planned a surprise dance for the bride. One of my favorite moments of the night was right before the cake cutting. All of the little kiddos were WAY excited! So excited, in fact, that they were showing Katherine & Tucker the fingerprints they had left all over the cake! I guess it tasted pretty good.

Katherine’s father said it best when offering words of love for this daughter and her new husband, “To Tucker: Remember that great things come in small packages, and you now have one of my three greatest gifts.” It was such an honor for me to capture a couple so in love! Katherine & Tucker, I wish you so much happiness in your life together!
