As a creative person, it’s always so nice to have a break during a busy wedding season to shoot for myself and just have fun with it. It’s rejuvenating and so important for keeping the passion I have for photography alive. Nothing else brings me so much joy, and I loved every single second of this styled shoot!
Sarah Brough was our bridal model and also organizer and planner. She reached out to me asking me to join the team she was putting together as the photographer. Sarah works as a custom ring agent for Luvari. Her designs are so stunning! She and her husband, Dalton, have been married for just over a year. They both got to don their own wedding attire again just for this occasion.
I showed up to Tibble Fork Reservoir to a beautifully decorated canoe covered in the most gorgeous flowers! Seriously, Jessa of Lennox Flora completely outdid herself! My jaw dropped as soon as I saw the incredible floral designs she created! Brooklyn Gilmour and Sarah Craft did an amazing job with the bride’s hair and makeup. The most fun part was that all of the vendors were actually at the shoot and got to see it all come together. It’s not every day that a professional is doing makeup out of the trunk of a car!
As we canoed across the reservoir, the sweet couple snuggled closer, and I worried about losing jewelry or camera equipment in the water. I got over that quickly, however, and ended up wading through the lake waist-deep at one point. The water there is exceptionally cold! Anything for that perfect shot!
I want to thank all of the vendors who worked together to create something so beautiful! Every single one of them is so talented and made the entire evening just magical. If any brides-to-be have something awesome in mind for their big day, this is the team to make it happen! Enjoy all the pretty!
