Stunning Summer Bridal Photoshoot At Big Cottonwood Canyon | The Sorrells

Coming up on a wedding anniversary? In our opinion, anniversaries are the perfect time to capture pictures of your continuing love story. Check out this gorgeous bridal photoshoot at Big Cottonwood Canyon that was actually booked in honor of a special anniversary.

Jenna and Nolan Sorrell, like many couples who got married in 2020, had to change and cancel a lot of their wedding plans. They ended up getting married on July 18th in a small, backyard ceremony. But, since they never got the gorgeous bridal photos they were hoping for, they booked a bridal photo session with Tasha to celebrate their one-year anniversary!

Right from the start of the photoshoot, Tasha said that these two beautiful humans were so fun to talk to and get to know. She took them to Silver Lake at Big Cottonwood Canyon, then up over Guardsman Pass, and even through a random field. Every single photo turned out absolutely perfectly! We were especially obsessed with Jenna’s gorgeous dress which she found on Lulus.com. It cost way less than her actual wedding dress, while still being so beautiful. Win win!

One major highlight of this session was when we found out Jenna had planned a surprise for this bridal session! She and Nolan love watching the show “Yellowstone” together. So, Jenna found original hats worn by the characters in the show and surprised Nolan with them. This special moment during their photoshoot at Big Cottonwood Canyon and Guardsman Pass made for such fun pictures!

We would LOVE to photograph your wedding! Please contact Tasha to book your session—spots fill up fast. To view more of our work, follow us on Instagram.
