“Once you have lived in New York and it has become your home, no place else is good enough.” – John Steinbeck
Jake (my husband) and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to New York for the long weekend. What do you do on spur of the moment trips to New York? Find an awesome couple who want to do a photo shoot, of course. Meet the Berger’s, Tasha introduced me to this cute couple. Michelle and Nate were both the Relief Society and Elders Quorum presidents in Tasha’s single ward. Michelle majored in accounting and they moved to New York about a month ago for Nate to do investment banking, talk about a power couple!!
This photo shoot started out with us forgetting our luggage in the Uber car that dropped us off. The Berger’s were so understanding of all the stress that accompanied me, Michelle and Nate were super helpful and understanding. Side note, it’s been a week and we still don’t have our luggage back. Michelle and Nate were so generous to ship it to us, so fingers crossed that it arrives soon.
We met up at the Brooklyn Bridge and it was amazing! New York exceeded my expectations and was absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be going back in my future. The streets were jammed pack with what seemed like a million people, but time stood still, and it seemed like Michelle and Nate were the only ones there. Michelle and Nate are both extremely stunning and super photogenic. Meeting couples like the Berger’s is one of the reason’s I love my job so much. They are easily one of the most generous and fun couples I’ve met. I feel so grateful that I got to capture these moments while we we’re in New York. Thanks to the Berger’s for putting up with me and making this shoot absolutely perfect!
