I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

You may remember the story of Maysie & Tanner being one of my most successful setups. You can read that story here. I’m so excited to share photos from their wedding today!

Maysie & Tanner were married in the Salt Lake Temple on a spring morning in April. The weather was a bit finicky that day. It was really nice one minute and the next was a downpour. We were in luck, however, and enjoyed the sun and beautiful blossoms the entire time spent outside at the temple. I savored every moment since spring weddings at the Salt Lake Temple won’t be happening for the next four years! Maysie & Tanner had the cutest nieces and nephews who were so excited to see them! The little girls followed the bride around, carrying her train wherever she went.

Being a friend of the bride and groom, I was honored to be invited to their luncheon and family dinner before the reception. Maysie & Tanner had some of the cutest details there like baby evergreens used as place cards that each of their guests could take home and plant. They also had custom coloring books to keep their many adorable nieces and nephews entertained that included cartoon versions of themselves and a maze that spelled the word “love.” I’m definitely stealing this idea when I get married!

The wedding dinner took place at the couple’s reception venue, This is the Place Heritage Park. They served chicken and steak that was delicious! The groom’s father only wanted hot dogs though, so he had some made just for him. Tanner’s sister and her husband made a “survival basket” for Maysie with things like Oakley stickers (a brand that he loves), pine air fresheners and a hair trimmer. The groom loves pine trees and the mountains so much that he even had them engraved on his wedding ring. Tanner’s nickname for his bride is “sunflower” so their wedding was just full of them! It was such a beautiful day, despite the crazy weather!

Congratulations, Maysie & Tanner! I have loved being a part of your story! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the two of you.
