It’s no secret that Utah Lake isn’t one of this state’s most beautiful (or best-smelling) landmarks. But it sure does look good in pictures! It serves at the perfect backdrop for engagements, bridals, or even family photos. Check out these perfect spring family pictures taken at Utah Lake State Park!

The Binks have two little boys and are expecting a baby girl in June! This was the perfect time to capture their current phase of life before they add one more precious baby to the mix—while also getting some beautiful maternity photos! This was such a playful shoot, and Megan was able to really capture the kids’ personalities and relationships with their parents.

Sometimes, family photo sessions with little kids can be challenging! Parents often feel embarrassed or frustrated during a shoot when their kids are struggling to smile or look at the camera. A lot of them think, “it’s just our kids”. Trust us, most kids don’t love photo sessions. But we always find a way to make the pictures turn out so great!

Toddlers are actually Megan’s favorite age to photograph because she loves the personalities of little kids and knows from personal experience with her own daughters just how quickly toddlers grow up. And thanks to Tasha’s editing skills, we were able to send the Binks a folder of family pictures at Utah Lake that will help them always remember this precious (and busy) phase of life!
