Weddings are all about joy and the coming together of two lives and hearts. Lindsey & Chris’ wedding was such a special day because the two of them had been long-distance dating for the majority of their relationship. They were both so ready to not have to say goodbye anymore and finally be together!
Lindsey & Chris met not too long before he moved out of state to start a new job. He took her to see the ocean for the first time and proposed on a ferry ride in Washington. Chris didn’t have a ring yet, but that didn’t stop him from making the day memorable by asking Lindsey to be his wife. In her own words, the bride-to-be is most excited for “no more goodbyes, just goodnights.”
The happy couple was married on a lovely, warm day at the Draper, Utah Temple. Shoes are not allowed inside the temple, so after the ceremony, one of the groomsmen discovered his shoes were missing! Someone happened to walk off with them. Luckily, he was able to laugh it off, and I made sure to capture a photo of him without his footwear.
The reception that evening was held in a pretty backyard in Lehi. The bride and groom and their guests were all smiles as Chris led everyone in a fun line dance. The evening ended with a grand send-off complete with bubbles to see the couple off into their happily ever after.
Congratulations, Lindsey & Chris! I’m so happy the two of you finally get to be together every single day. I really enjoyed spending your wedding day with you!
