Today’s snowy engagement session is one of my favorites of the season. Seneca & Nicholas are such a sweet couple, and they are up for anything! When I asked the bride-to-be if she was ok with snow for this engagement session, she replied, “I’m not afraid of the snow! It’s my natural element.” Seneca is originally from Canada. She and Nicholas met on the first day of the semester at a university function. They both attend school at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg. She is pursuing a degree in Public Health and he is studying Health Administration. They clicked instantly, but it wasn’t until Seneca asked Nicholas out on a date that their story really began.

Nicholas and I bonded over being from a very small town during their engagement session. Although, his hometown in Wyoming is even smaller than mine with a population of only 300 people! This session was quite an adventure! We drove up Big Cottonwood Canyon in the middle of a winter storm. However, not even a blizzard or a moose in the middle of the road was going to stop us from getting the most epic photos! Nicholas showed us ladies that chivalry is not dead as he helped me down from multiple mountains of snow and tried to save me more than once when I slipped and fell. Anything for the photo!

These two will be getting married at the Salt Lake Temple in just a couple of months. They chose that particular temple because Nicholas had the opportunity to be sealed to his family there when he was younger. I hope their wedding day brings back fond memories for him and creates a lot of wonderful new ones. Congratulations, Seneca & Nicholas! Thanks for the adventure!
