You know you photographed your best friends when they forget their own car to get from the Temple to the reception and you get to chauffeur the newly weds to their reception.

Where do I even begin with these two? You know that saying, “A match made in Heaven”? Well, this phrase was made for them. They have the kind of love that is just so contagious, you can’t help but want to be around them! Perhaps I am biased since Jackie & Pedro are actually two of my best friends! But, I think anyone who knows Jackie or Pedro would agree with me that these two are literally perfect for one another! A lot of photographer’s don’t like to work with their close friends or family but working with these two taught me so much and showed me how to treat every client like my best friend!

For their engagement session we headed up to Tibble Fork which is up American Fork Canyon. This place is GORGEOUS! A few days before the session, Jackie & I went to the mall to pick out what they should wear. It was so much fun helping her choose what to wear. And I almost crying when she tried on this GORGEOUS dress (scroll down to see). I can only imagine how I would have reacted if I had gone with her to find her wedding dress.

This session was seriously magical. I don’t even have words to describe it. Good thing I have pictures instead!

Would you believe me if I told you that during their bridal session it started POURING rain? Would you also believe me that they just continued to dance in the rain IN THEIR WEDDING CLOTHES!! If it’s going to rain, you might as well make the best of it and just dance in the rain. I feel like that pretty much sums up Jackie—she’s the kind of girl who dances through the rain.

Pedro is from Peru and Jackie served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Peru. Match made in Heaven, I know.

Incase you haven’t already noticed her ring? Yeah, everyone is jealous!

Finally after months of waiting, September 2nd rolled around and Pedro & Jackie were sealed for time & all eternity!

My favorite part of the day was when we had finished up at the temple and everyone else had headed to the reception, Jackie & Pedro realized they forgot a separate car so I had the privilege of chauffeuring the newly weds to their reception which involved a stroll through City Creek Mall.

Mr. & Mrs. Chipana also held a ring ceremony before the reception began.
