I’ve been really looking forward to this wedding day because the bride and groom are two of my very favorite people! They found me through one of my previous couples, Jasmine & Blake. I just clicked with Seneca & Nick instantly. They are so fun to be around and so relaxed. If I could photograph their wedding every single day, I would.
Seneca & Nick met at school in Rexburg, Idaho. She is originally from Canada and he is from Wyoming. Nick chose a spot near their apartment building in Rexburg for the big proposal. He lit 400 candles to create a path leading to a table set with a favorite picture of them and the exact meal they enjoyed on their very first date (the taco bus). Seneca always wanted an intimate proposal with just the two of them. It was a beautiful moment and all they had ever dreamed of. When deciding where to get married, they landed on the Salt Lake Temple because Nick’s parents were sealed there so it has some meaning to them.
Seneca & Nick’s wedding day at the Salt Lake Temple was a lovely one. Their family and friends were so sweet and welcoming! The couple was happy, carefree and so in love throughout the entire day. After going through the hassle of four wedding dresses not working out or not showing up on time, Seneca looked absolutely beautiful in a dress she borrowed from a friend. She was such a relaxed bride that it didn’t even bother her. She was just happy to be marrying her love. The bouquets were all made of silk flowers. In all my time as a wedding photographer, I’ve honestly never seen faux flowers look so amazing! The little nieces were thrilled with their flowers as well and wanted to spend all day showing them off.
The best thing about this couple is how kind they are to everyone in their lives. They even requested a photo with me because they wanted to remember that I was a part of their day. During their bridal session, I showed Nick a shot that I really loved on the back of my camera. He looked at me very seriously and said, “Harry! You’re a wizard!”
Congratulations, Seneca & Nick! Every moment with the two of you has been nothing short of an adventure! I have no doubt your lives together will be the same.
