I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

Today I’m going to turn the blog over to my associate, Candace! This was the first wedding she photographed since joining the Tasha Rose team. Take it away, Candace!

This winter wedding was one of the coldest I have experienced, but that did not in any way dampen the happiness and joy of Tailor & Mosiah’s big day! There was not a single complaint from any of their friends and family either. Everyone was just happy to be there with them celebrating their love.

The two were married in the Salt Lake Temple on one of the very last days of 2018. Tailor grew up competing in downhill and slalom skiing, so a snowy winter wedding could not have been more perfect! She looked absolutely radiant in her long-sleeved lace gown. Mosiah could not keep his eyes off of her during their First Look at Jordan Pines. I loved the deep purple color the couple chose for their wedding. I think it suited them both so well.

On the way to their mountain bridal session, Tailor spotted a tree with their initials carved into the trunk. What a happy coincidence! We took some photos with it, and Mosiah’s mom had a mini tree trunk made for the reception to resemble the one we found. I thought it was such a cute idea and something they will love to have in their home for years to come.

The reception took place at Tailor & Mosiah’s local church. The space was decked with pretty string lights everywhere. Mosiah’s Polynesian neighbors served as the DJs for the evening and did a great job! Their guests obviously love to dance, especially the father of the bride who was so hilarious and full or energy! Tailor’s family planned a surprise performance for the couple with the whole group gathering in the center of the dance floor for a funny version of the “Go, Bananas” song.

Tailor & Mosiah, it was an honor to be with you on your wedding day and capture your joy. I hope you enjoyed your San Diego honeymoon! I wish you a long and happy life together.
