Sara & Mason will both say their story began with love at first sight! This sweet couple met through Sara’s older brother while he and Mason were both serving an LDS mission in Argentina. Shortly after Mason’s return, he and Sara were introduced. She was attending school in North Carolina when Mason transferred to a university in South Carolina to play soccer. The two had already been “seeing” each other over FaceTime for months prior to this highly anticipated first meeting. During his first weekend in South Carolina, Mason came to visit Sara and her family. Then he came back every weekend after that for the entire semester! Sara was accepted into Brigham Young University starting this fall, so Mason transferred to Utah Valley University in Orem to be near her.
Mason proposed to Sara at the Natural History Museum in Salt Lake City. He has loved dinosaurs since he was a little boy, and Sara loves photography. He decided to combine both of their passions for a pretty epic proposal. Mason rented out the museum, and his dad made a huge 3D collage of all of the photos of him and Sara together. Mason popped the question right in front of the dinosaur exhibit. How romantic and creative is that??
We had the perfect sunset backdrop for Sara & Mason’s lovely engagement session at Antelope Island. These two lovebirds will be getting married at the end of December in the Salt Lake Temple with a reception at Highland Gardens. I can’t wait to spend their special day with them!
