I love it when I get to take pictures of other photographers! It’s fun to be able to talk shop for a little bit and swap stories about the triumphs and woes of being in this business. I met April & John through an online photography group. The two of them were visiting Utah from Michigan and asked me to photograph a couples session for them while they were in town. What an honor!

April & John are a really fun couple.  I loved getting to know them and hearing about all of the things they were seeing and doing during their visit. They have participated in a bunch of tourist activities that I have never done even though I live here. They’ve been white water rafting, hiking and sight-seeing. The two of them stayed in the beautiful Park City while they were here.

The first night we attempted to make this session happen, the skies turned dark and a terrible thunderstorm rolled in. We decided to reschedule the rest of their session, and I’m so glad we did! Two nights later, the sun was shining and we had beautiful weather. As usual, the Utah mountains were spectacular!
