Dreamy Millennial Falls wedding ceremony and reception. A beautiful celebration of the bride’s Chinese heritage at a beautiful wedding venue.

Congrats to these newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Ashton. We did this bridal session at the Utah State Capitol Building. When Carolyn saw the train on her dress at The Perfect Dress, she knew right away it was the one! The train, the lace, the color, the bride, it was all so beautiful! Carolyn comes from a Chinese heritage, so she brought along her beautiful lucky bamboo that symbolizes good fortune. Half through the session Carolyn changed into her traditional Chinese dress. This gorgeous dress was a gift from her aunt all the way in Singapore! It held a lot of symbolism of her Chinese heritage. They brought along penny, Carolyn’s adorable dog (aka the favorite child). She even had a matching outfit for him, it was ADORABLE.

Their wedding venue, held Millennial Falls, was gorgeous! It was bright, airy, and so dreamy. They had a floating cake, and every single detail was thought out. Including the adorable, personalized napkins. The event coordinator was sweet and helped teach all the groomsmen how to fold their pocket squares. This venue has the  most beautiful staircase was the most beautiful staircase, that made for some epic photos. The ceremony was beautiful, full of close friends and family.

After the wedding ceremony, Carolyn changed into her traditional Chinese dress for a nice dinner. Rocky and Carolyn’s wedding colors were red and gold in honor of Carolyn’s Chinese heritage. Rocky’s family are all amazingly musically talented. His dad and sister played their violins, and his mom played the piano to a classical waltz song. They also played a fun country hoe down song. Carolyn’s sister joined in with her violin for a trio as well. Rocky and Carolyn were so romantic and sweet all day. They are both amazing dancers and their first dance super memorable. You could truly feel their love. I’m so glad I got to celebrate and capture some magic moments with these two!
