I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

Mallory & Christian met at a church activity playing a game of Apples to Apples. From the very first round, they already knew they liked each other! On the first day of a finance class, Christian saw Mallory walk in and decided to take a chance and sit next to her. They had a great conversation throughout the class and bonded over the strange way their professor pronounced the word “finance.” After class, they walked together and continued to talk for almost an hour. It didn’t take long after that for Christian to ask Mallory out on their first date!

The couple knew they were in love pretty quickly. About a month into their relationship and after spending time with each other and their families, they both knew they just worked. Christian proposed on a very cold day in Logan at a park. With the help of his sister who lived nearby, he brought roses (a significant flower since Mallory’s middle name is Rose) and set up a beautiful gazebo decked in twinkling fairy lights. Mallory was completely surprised because her engagement ring wasn’t due to be delivered for another month. They had a perfect evening which culminated in a competitive round of Phase 10. The two of them now have an ongoing rivalry over who can win the most matches of the card game.

Mallory & Christian decided to have their engagement session photographed at the Utah State Capitol Building. We then headed over to Memory Grove Park for some gorgeous scenery just as the spring flowers were starting to bloom. Mallory requested blossoms and we were able to find one spectacular tree in full bloom. It was a wonderful evening! It made me happy watching the love these two share for one another.

Congratulations, Mallory & Christian! I can’t wait for your June wedding!
