We had Abbey-Kate & Conner’s bridals scheduled for a very rainy fall evening. The clouds just dumped buckets of rain all day long! We were nervous about moving forward with their session, but the couple decided to brave the weather. As we drove up American Fork Canyon and rain continued to fall, I was so nervous! Just as we arrived at Tibble Fork Reservoir, the rain stopped, the clouds opened up, and we had the most magical session up in the mountains! These two must have had some good weather karma saved up.
Abbey-Kate looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown! I LOVED her ring and her wedding shoes! They were even comfortable. Bridal win! Everything about her look suited her perfectly. Conner was the most joyful, fun-loving groom who so obviously adored his lovely wife-to-be. Seeing them together made my heart happy.
November 17th finally came, and Abbey-Kate & Conner were married in the Draper LDS Temple. They were surrounded by so much love as their friends and family congratulated them. We couldn’t have asked for better weather in the late fall! The celebration continued that evening with a beautiful reception at Cactus and Tropicals in Draper. I love this location for a wedding. Even in the dead of winter, this greenhouse venue has gorgeous flowers and blooming in every corner. Leatherby’s catered with more ice cream than any group of people could consume in one night! The lovely evening ended with a glow stick send off, which was so fun!
To the happy couple, I was so honored to be a part of your day! I hope the two of you live happily ever after!
Be sure to check out Abbey-Kate & Conner’s engagement session at Storm Mountain here! Their love story is unique. They are one of those couples that were just meant to be!
