I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

I wanted to share my last wedding from 2018 before this year officially comes to a close. Sara & Mason’s gorgeous winter wedding day at the Salt Lake Temple was cold, but beautiful. The morning started out with a light snow falling, but it cleared right up just before they exited the temple to very excited cheers from their friends and family! The bride’s family traveled from North Carolina to freezing Utah to be there for this special day.

Sara was an absolutely stunning bride in her lace gown with a very long train! You know I love me some long trains! The colors the couple chose were a perfect nod to the season. I especially loved Sara’s burgundy shoes. As I walked around the temple with the couple, Mason told the story of the summer job he once worked laying tile on the temple grounds… the very tile we were now walking on!

The reception that evening took place at Highland Gardens in American Fork. It’s one of my favorite venues! I love how gorgeous and green everything looks, even in the winter. Waffle Love catered, so of course the food was delicious. Sara & Mason’s guests celebrated by dancing the night away. In my humble opinion, all weddings should have lots of dancing.

The couple was gifted a personalized cookie jar by Sara’s grandfather who was a baker. He started the tradition with his children and now his grandchildren. The jar was filled with the best “dough” he ever made, which turned out to be a bunch of money! I loved this fun family tradition!

Sara & Mason, thank you so much for sharing your happiest day with me! I hope you enjoyed your first Christmas together and your tropical honeymoon! Congratulations, you two!
