I’m so excited to introduce this cute couple today, Sarah and Jared, soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Moon. This gorgeous engagement session took place at Utah lake and the lighting was PERFECT! Sarah and Jared are the sweetest couple and I’m so glad I got to work with these two love birds.

Sarah and Jared met in a Latin dance class and are both getting their minors in ballroom dance at BYU. They were randomly paired up to dance the Rumba for a practice competition. As time went on, they became closer friends and their friendship gradually turned into a beautiful love story! They always “hypothetically” talked and joked about marriage, Sarah even pretended to propose with a ring pop. When Covid19 hit, Sarah and Jared hit the road to the Oregon coast to isolate with Sarah’s family. While there, Jared finally transformed the “hypothetical” talk into reality, when he too proposed with a ring-pop, only to then surprise her and propose for real (turns out, third time really is a charm).

They always envisioned a traditional temple wedding, but covid19 came in like a wrecking ball. They’re still trying to finalize plans amid this world pandemic. They enjoy hiking, dancing, and spending lots of hours at the kitchen table doing homework together (couples that do homework together, stay together). These two are full of life and love!

Jared describes Sarah as, “the most spiritual, kind-hearted woman he’d ever met. She is all the general things I would ask for (smart, funny, beautiful, talented, etc.) and so very much more. I’m the happiest when I’m with her because she lightens my day with her never-ending optimism.

Sarah describes Jared as “I love his character, integrity, thoughtfulness and spirit. I love that he always thinks through his decisions before acting, and is so easy to communicate with. I feel more like myself when I’m with him than I do anywhere else. He is my favorite person for sure!” Congrats to the sweetest couple ever! I can’t wait for your wedding!
