Fall family photos in Utah—kinda basic but oh so worth it! The autumn leaves never last long (thanks, Jack Frost), so we love getting as many photoshoots in as we can while the trees are looking their very colorful best. And this photo session was one of our favorites!
Jackie and Pedro Chipana are actually Tasha’s most photographed couple and family. She met them just a week after they started dating. When it came time for their engagement photos, they asked Tasha to be their photographer. Since then, Tasha has also photographed their wedding (llamas included), and has taken their anniversary photos, maternity pictures, and last year’s family photos when their cutest little boy, Lorenzo, was just a new baby. As photographers, we love seeing families grow and capturing pictures of each special phase of life!
For these family photos, Tasha took the Chipanas to one of her very favorite photo spots: Big Mountain Pass near Little Dell Reservoir. The fall colors were exquisite! And looked so great with the Chipanas’ coordinated fall outfits. Jackie really wanted to wear something different than she’d usually wear for a photo session. Her husband actually picked out this jumpsuit, and we have to say that he did a great job!
One of Tasha’s favorite memories from this shoot is that they used “The Gummy Bear Song” to keep one-year-old Lorenzo entertained during the photo session. It must have worked pretty well because doesn’t Lorenzo just look so adorable in every single picture?! Tasha can’t wait to take their family photos next year!
