I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

It was super rainy on the drive up to Silver Lake for this engagement session! I called Tailor and told her there was a 80% chance of rain (and possibly snow) up at the location. She and Mosiah decided to give it a go anyway, and boy are we glad that we did! Tailor & Mosiah were so sweet together and such troopers, despite the cold. The three of us drove up the canyon in a downpour. However, once we got there, it didn’t rain the ENTIRE TIME we were shooting! Blessings.

Tailor is from the Lake Tahoe area in California and grew up competing in downhill and slalom skiing. Mosiah grew up in Murray, Utah. He was a football player, and he also wrestled. The two of them met while serving a mission in Mexico for the LDS church. They were in the same zone for seven months. Mosiah went home shortly before Tailor, and they started emailing each other over the final few weeks of her mission. He asked her on a date in one of their last emails. On Tailor’s way home, she had a layover in Salt Lake City. Mosiah was waiting at the airport because he couldn’t wait to see her! Two days later, he flew to California and took Tailor out on their first date.

They both said that they weren’t going to rush things and that they should both date other people before things got serious. Things went very well though. They were engaged two months later! Tailor lives in Provo to attend Brigham Young University. She works at Deseret Book and loves it! Mosiah attends LDS business college in Salt Lake City and works at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. He gets free gourmet meals everyday thanks to his job. These two are an adorable couple with such an amazing story! I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding day!
