Draper temple wedding on a chilly fall day. Fun, elegant, and beautiful reception with the BEST homemade cookies.
Whitney and James officially sealed the deal on October 15th at the LDS Draper temple on a chilly fall day. It was freezing cold outside, but these two were champs about the weather the whole time. They exited the temple in their wedding clothes. Their moms had packed blankets to make some DIY changing rooms in the parking lot, so they could change into their wedding dress and tux. I love that the temple grounds were open to photographers (for a little bit) and this Draper temple wedding was a great reminder not to take that for granted. These two kept staring at each other with the cutest glow in their eyes the whole day. You could definitely see love when you looked at them.
They held their reception the day before at the CR Hamilton Sports Complex in Riverton. Light blue, navy, and magenta accents were their wedding colors. It was beautiful! They had rustic décor that was simple yet so elegant. There was a super fun dance party. Whitney’s parents were the best swing dancers I’ve ever seen! Everyone’s favorite part of the reception was the tower of wooden crates that were decorated with pictures, keepsakes, and special memories from their love story. They served cookies and milk that were a huge hit. Their families had baked all the cookies and wrapped them all themselves, it was extremely impressive. I had the absolute best time getting to know Whitney and James. They are the sweetest couple! I’m so glad they let me be a part of their big day. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Seeley!
