I met Christina & Larsen for the first time on their wedding day. I had spoken to Christina over the phone and had a feeling from our conversation we would be great friends, but I had no idea just how much I would love this sweet couple! From the moment I met these two, I instantly felt this feeling of joy and pure happiness overflowing between them. Being a wedding photographer has allowed me to meet complete strangers who within minutes become friends. I’m so honored to capture their priceless moments that will last a lifetime.
It was a blazing hot summer’s day when Christina & Larsen walked out of the Provo City Center LDS Temple hand in hand as husband and wife for the first time. Family and friends– more friends than I think I have seen in my entire life– gathered to celebrate their marriage and love for one another. They are truly the sweetest couple. Christina was the kind of bride who would stop and tell someone how beautiful they looked on HER wedding day!
A beautiful luncheon was held at the Brick Canvas for close friends and family. Toasts to the happy couple were given by each grandparent, parent, sibling, and in-law. I felt like I got to know the couple pretty well by hearing about them from their loved ones. Each speech had common themes repeated. They spoke of Christina’s kindness, Larsen’s loyalty and devotion, how deserving of love and happiness the two of them are, and how lucky they are to have found each other. Both Christina and Larsen waited a long time to find one another, but when they did, wow was it well worth the wait!
The day continued with their lovely reception at the Brick Canvas. The lights dimmed and the music played for the real party to begin! Let me tell you, this group knew how to dance! Have you ever seen “the canoe” dance move? Me neither. They were amazing! The food was also amazing! They had a wall of the most delicious donuts, fruit galore and a French crepe bar. The night ended with a tunnel of sparklers and Christina & Larsen’s new life together began! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Holyoak! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
