I'm Tasha - your wedding photographer

Today’s post is coming to you from the beaches of Hawaii where I am currently enjoying the sand and sun instead of the snow! I hope everyone is staying warm and safe back home.

There was a big snowstorm the day before and the day after, but the morning of McKay & Dallin’s wedding dawned bright and clear at the Payson LDS Temple. I was so excited to see this couple again and celebrate their special day with them! McKay & Dallin are some of the most joyful people I know. They always have a smile on their faces, and I knew their wedding day would be no exception. They were surrounded by friends and family from the moment they exited the temple. And, no surprise, there was a smile on every face.

The groom’s parents are currently serving an LDS mission in Chile, but they were able to still make it to the wedding, which meant so much to the couple! They really are all the nicest humans. Dallin even stopped and gave me a hug at the temple in a sea of well-wishers and thanked me for being there.

McKay & Dallin’s reception that evening was held at Southworth Hall in Provo. I had never been to this venue, but it was so lovely! I even met the owner who could not have been nicer. The decorations were the cutest! The room was full of cool, rustic brick and two signs listing the reasons McKay & Dallin love each other. The flowers were done by the bride’s sister, Dana of The Ruffled Petal, and they were beautiful! You may also recognize a familiar face. Mckay’s cousin, Abbie-Kate, was also a Tasha Rose bride (very recently!). Their whole family has been so supportive of me and my business. This sweet bride even requested salad to be served at her reception just so I would have something to eat, being gluten-free. Have I mentioned how thoughtful and sweet these people are??

McKay & Dallin, I wish the two of you so much happiness in your marriage and your future together! Thank you for the honor of being your wedding photographer. It was a day to remember.
