When looking for a pretty spot to take winter engagement photos in Utah, couples have quite a few options! And taking pictures at the beautiful Kays Creek in Layton is always a good idea.

Miranda and Kevin Williamson met in Logan, Utah through a mutual friend who actually works two different jobs—one with each of them. This friend was sick of hearing them complain about their dating lives, so he decided Miranda and Kevin should just date each other. Turns how he was right! We love when that happens. Miranda and Kevin have been inseparable since June 2020 and got engaged this past January.

One of their favorite things to do together is to go on nature drives up in Cache Valley. The day of Kevin’s proposal, Miranda knew it was coming. Especially, when Kevin made several stops on their usual drive just to talk about his feelings for her. But when they finished the drive and he still hadn’t proposed, Miranda decided it wasn’t going to happen that night. When they were almost home, Kevin said he’d lost his wallet and they needed to go back and look for it at every place they had stopped. At their last stop, there was an entire setup with pictures of their memories together, and Kevin asked THE question. So perfect.

Amelia loved getting to know Miranda and Keven while taking their engagement pictures at Kays Creek. Since Miranda had spent time on Pinterest looking at photography poses ahead of time, she was a pro! And the couple pulled off the most epic dip kiss! Amelia can’t wait to photograph their wedding in May.
