Colorful fall Utah engagement session at Aspen Grove. Kicking off fall photo sessions with the sweetest couple!
I am so excited to announce…FALL leaves are here! This amazing engagement session took place at Aspen Grove. This session was the perfect kick off for fall. Whitney and James are the sweetest couple, with the best sense of fashion. Whitney and James brought their hammock with them. It was the BEST idea ever and made for some epic photos! These two deserve an award for taking down a hammock at lighting speed. During our hammock portion of the session a guy drove by yelling at us to get off his side of the road.
These two cuties met at a returned missionary class. They became good friends and joined a group that took weekly temple trips together. Which led to some awesome spiritual experiences with each other. They sang together in a young adult choir and were pretty much a match made in heaven. Their first impressions of each other:
Whitney: “The new guy in class with cowboy boots.”
James: “Whitney’s spunky personality.”
James proposed on August 7th at approximately 6:26 AM. They planned a sunrise hike leaving at 3:30 a.m. (that’s true love right there). Whitney accidentally slept in and woke up to a phone call asking if she was ready to go. James should have checked her alarm the night before, but now he has all eternity to do that! James’ younger siblings tagged along and right as the sun began to set, James got down on one knee and proposed. ,These two love camping, hiking, star gazing, hammocking and anything outdoors. But most importantly they love Sweeto Burrito! Their life motto is “we are doers not just dreamers”.
****Unpopular opinion: They will tell you 2020 hasn’t sucked (they both found their forever best friend).I would LOVE to photograph your engagement session! Please contact me to book your session, spots fill up fast. To view more of my work, follow me on Instagram.
