This couples session was amazing! I photographed Kaylie and Corbins wedding 2 1/2 years ago and I was looking for a little adventure at a new EPIC location and I knew these two would be the perfect couple for that! We had to hike to the location and it sprinkled on us a couple of times, but these two stayed optimistic the whole way. This location was AMAZING and I can’t wait to shoot here again. Shout out to Kaylie, she even let me pick out her outfit. I found the perfect white dress on Roolee and Kaylie agreed to buy it (seriously, the best couple ever).
Kaylie and Corbin were just as in love as they were on their wedding day. I love catching up with past Tasha Rose couples and catching up on life. I have a problem with becoming best friends with ALL of my past couples (sorry, not sorry). Corbin is going to nursing school at the University of Utah, my alma mater, so we also got to catch up on nursing school, nursing lingo and professors at the U.
One of my photography mysteries was finally solved at this session. At Kaylie and Corbins wedding all of the groomsmen carried bananas in their pockets. I never knew what it was for and neither did Kaylie, so of course I had to finally solve this mystery. Corbin was at Disney a while back with his friends and decided to save his banana for a snack later and the only place to carry it was his pocket. Corbins friends gave him a lot of crap about it. So in honor of him on his wedding day, they all kept bananas in their pockets. It was a relief to finally know the reason behind the bananas.
