The best thing about being blessed with an abundance of amazing couples to photograph is that it usually means I am blessed with an even greater abundance of amazing couples once I meet all of their friends and family! I met Emma through her cousin, Richard, who is a really good friend of mine. You may remember him and his wife Auvi from their beautiful anniversary session at the sand dunes. When Emma & David got engaged, her mom was asking her sister (Richard’s mom) for her input on the wedding planning process. The advice she gave was to hire me as their wedding photographer. I was moved to tears. I seriously have the BEST people in my life!
Emma & David met through their missions in Georgia. The two of them are from different states, but now they live in Provo attending Brigham Young University. They bonded over a mutual love for professional soccer (European football, if I’m being precise). They even brought jerseys of their favorite team to wear during their session.
We photographed Emma & David’s engagement session at Silver Lake and Empire Pass near Park City. To say that I am in love with their photos would be an understatement! I wholeheartedly enjoyed every second of our time together. The location, the outfits, the couple… it was all perfect! Emma’s engagement ring was so beautiful, which should come as no surprise since she works for a jeweler. I joked with Emma that I want to hire her to pick out clothes for me someday. She was totally on board and said that would be her dream job. Little does she know that I wasn’t kidding at all!
Congratulations, Emma & David! I can’t wait for your wedding in September at the beautiful Salt Lake Temple! Emma, what should I wear?
