Summer is officially over! We are so ready for all things pumpkin spice and cozy, but we still love looking back at the beautiful weddings we got to photograph during the summer months. This gorgeous wedding ceremony at Sleepy Ridge was definitely a favorite!

Olivia and Kyle Garner first met on Mutual! But before ever meeting in person, they played video games together and got to know each other that way first. After a few weeks, they started texting and Kyle took her on a date to get ice cream and go on a long drive around Utah Lake. They connected quickly and loved talking together.

On January 30th, Kyle proposed in his backyard. He had an entire setup of photos, flower petals, candles, a blanket, and a sign with their names on it. So romantic! Olivia told us, “Some things I love the most about us are that we take care of each other and make sure we know we care for one another. He always makes sure I know that I can talk to him and take my time and that he wants to hear and help me!”. These two love putting puzzles together, laughing, watching shows, going on drives, and playing volleyball. They do anything and everything together!

The Garners got married on August 27th at Sleepy Ridge in the Sunset Room. The entire day was so perfect, and Tasha said the venue flowers were the prettiest she’s ever seen them. Olivia was stunning in her wedding dress and Tasha was even able to help with a little wardrobe malfunction. The only person in the wedding party who got to see Olivia getting ready was her maid of honor, Anna. Tasha loved capturing the first look moment with Olivia’s mom and bridesmaids. The first time Kyle got to see Olivia in her wedding dress was as she walked down the aisle. Such a special moment! They were both glowing!

Several talented vendors worked together to make this such an incredible wedding! Marvellous Catering took care of all the food, and as usual, it was divine. Christian Campbell was the best DJ Tasha had ever worked with. He only played the upbeat parts of songs, which kept the party and dancing going! And Branson Maxwell, one of Tasha’s favorite videographers, was there to capture the wedding ceremony at Sleepy Ridge and all of the unforgettable moments at the reception afterwards. Congrats to the Garners!
