Redwood Bridals & Gorgeous Wedding At The Oakland, California Temple | The Bomers

We love photographing Utah’s gorgeous weddings! But, we also love traveling to other beautiful destinations to capture our couples’ special moments. This wedding at the Oakland, California Temple was unforgettable and Tasha loved being part of it!

Caroline and Hayden Bomer had their wedding at the Oakland, California Temple on August 14th! Tasha flew to California that morning and took an Uber straight to the temple so she could photograph the couple’s first look. The bride actually hadn’t seen the groom in his wedding suit yet, so it was a first look reveal for both of them!

The weather was perfect! Even in the middle of the day, Tasha was able to get the most beautiful pictures. She especially loved capturing photos on the temple terrace. It’s covered in gardens and located above the ground floor of the temple. She couldn’t believe that from there, you can see views of the Bay Area, including downtown San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. After the first look at the temple, they headed to the Redwood trees nearby for Caroline’s dream bridal photoshoot. And can we just say…all of those pictures are dreamy!

After taking all of the bridal photos, it was time for the temple sealing! Tasha loves traveling to weddings like this one, partly because of how much time she gets to spend with the families. One of her favorite moments with them was right after the sealing. Caroline’s family gathered for a family prayer on the temple grounds. It was such a special way to put a pause on a busy wedding day just to focus on being a family. It was a very full day, but Tasha loved being there to capture every bit of it! Congrats to the Bomers!
