Meet Maddy and Ethan (aka Jim & Pam Halpert), the future Smith’s and one of the greatest couples ever! This engagement session was pure magic, we chose the perfect location and the evening light was spot on. There were gorgeous yellow blooming flowers everywhere and I COULDN’T wait to get home and see these photos again.
Ethan and Maddy met at call center job last Summer. They sat next to each other the first day of orientation and hit it off immediately. They spent the whole time laughing together and by the end of the month were officially dating. The competitive nature of bubble shooter and the boring lectures really brought them together. Ethan asked Maddy out at the end of training that day (but they’re actually both confused if it was an actual date or not) and here they are eight months later preparing for their wedding day!
Ethan proposed on a trip to St. George at a beautiful park. He had some friends set up an elaborate display of timeline pictures in the trees and a heart made of candles. Ethan says it best, “As I knelt down to propose, she hit me with the force of a thousand men. I made a beautiful eulogy and to this day she doesn’t know what was said and she said yes. Now here we are!”
Ethan is applying for business school at BYU and Maddy graduated from SUU with her communications degree. These two live by the saying, “I’m here for a good time not a long time” and are always laughing and being goofy. While Maddy is an extrovert and Ethan is an introvert, they compliment each other so well. Maddy and Ethan enjoy nature and the outdoors, pickle-ball and just cuddling up on the couch with a good movie. I truly had the BEST time at this engagement session and I can’t wait until August 22!
Jim: So, as it turns out, I may not have done so hot on my customer reviews this year.
Pam: Maybe it’s because you spent the whole year flirting with the receptionist.
Jim: Little bit. Worth it.
