Tibble Fork Reservoir bridal session and LDS temple wedding in Ogden, Utah. Followed by a fairytale luncheon & reception at Jera Gardens.
Meet the Andersons, Kaylee, and Matthew. The sweetest couple ever! This bridal session was done at Tibble Fork Reservoir by Sophia and I was super lucky to step in for their wedding. These two had a “drive-in” wedding back in April at a friend’s property in Morgan, Utah. Kaylee’s family all drove out from Indiana and close friends and family parked in a field to witness the ceremony. Afterwards, everyone said hello and gave their congratulatory honks as they drove away. Kaylee and Matthew were sealed in the LDS Ogden temple on Friday September 11th.
Jera Gardens was the venue for their luncheon/reception afterwards. It was gorgeous, straight out of a princess movie! Full of nature and greenery, their wedding cake sat in a cute wonderland cove. Picture the magical fairyland garden from Tinkerbell. They served the cutest refreshments and veggie trays. The decorations were so well thought out and beautiful. Kaylee played the guitar and sang I’m Keeping You Forever and For Always by Shania Twain for Matthew at their reception. It was amazing! Their first dance was to Never Stop (wedding version) by Safety Suit. Followed by dances with their parents to Butterfly Fly Away by Miley Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. There was some choreographed dancing from the wedding party, and everyone joined in on the celebration.
This cute couple met at BYUI. Matt knocked on her door twice to ask her out on a date, but both times only her roommates were home (it’s not the kind of thing you leave a message for). On his third attempt, Kaylee was home. She was so impressed that he asked in person verse texting or calling. Kaylee graduated with a communications degree and Matthew is currently in grad school at the University of Utah pursuing finance. Kaylee warned Matt that when he proposed she wanted to look cute. The week he proposed, he told Kaylee to plan on being cute that whole week. On the first day, he took her to a romantic location covered in roses where he proposed. Such a gentleman, he didn’t even make Kaylee get cute for the whole week. Ladies, find a man like that! They enjoy cooking, shooting, the outdoors, and watching movies. I’m so grateful they trusted me with their big day. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Anderson!
